Colors, Shapes, and Lines!

In the art activity time on Tuesdays, the students have been learning to look, identify, and draw elements of shape as they explore and develop their visual language expression. They have each made wonderful drawings of objects and animals that we are now recreating onto large canvases of birds, wild animals, and tropical birds.

We have also been exploring color by making color wheels, mixing primaries into our favorite colors, and learning to associate colors with how we feel. Little lights students love to paint, so color mixing is a big hit and makes everyone happy!!
