Teen Internship Training: Resume Writing

The teens had a wonderful seminar on how to write resumes and the importance of presenting yourself professionally and positively.  The workshop was run by Mr. Walker, a long-standing experienced professional in Human Resources.  Our teens had the opportunity to hear about what makes a great resume, what not to include, how to market yourself well, and the importance of being careful about how you share information over the internet.  After his presentation, our interns had a chance to sit down one on one with Mr. Walker as he gave them a private resume consultation. Whether this was their first job, or their fifth job, Mr. Walker showed them how to create and perfect their professional resumes.  Our teen interns were able to leave this training day with a working resume in-hand, and some practical knowledge for the future.  It was an afternoon well spent.
