Our Prayer Requests
Staff - coordinators, love, relationships, unity
As staff we work and minister together. Our relationships with each other
should be marked with the love of Christ's disciples (John 13:35). Pray God would continue
to be faithful in bringing quality people who love Him. Pray for the staff and volunteers
to function as the body of Christ.
Community - parents, tutoring, field trips
We believe God has called us to live and interact personally with the
community. We hope to assist in bringing people to a healthier status (physically,
emotionally, spiritually). Pray for our interaction and relations with mothers and
guardians of the children. Pray we would be wise in how we tutor and teach children. We
pray field trips with the children would be about building (healthy) relationships and
move beyond a fun activity.
Fundraising - monthly support, bus/van, summer camp
We are so grateful and amazed for God's provision. We continue to pray in
particular for monthly support. Monthly donations allows us to plan a budget, build a
credit history, and project expenses more effectively. A particular need in the near
future is a bus (15+ passenger van) for transporting children. Also, support is also
needed for summer camp activities.
Children - nurturing, safety, godly love
Being a kid in the inner city can be tough. We hope by God's grace to offer
love and hope. Pray we may be tender in our opportunities to nurture children. Pray for
the safety of children and their families.
