Volunteers are very much the backbone of our after-school programs: we could not do what we do without the help of caring and compassionate individuals such as yourself! Consider joining our fun and supportive Little Lights' family in helping out with any of the programs that we offer, and make a difference in the life of a child, a community, and a city.

Little Lights 2007-2008 Programs
Program	Day/Time/Location	Description
Homework Club	Monday-Thursday 4:00-6:15 p.m. Hope Center and Mount Joy Baptist Church	Assist students grades K-4 or 5th and up with homework assignments and projects.
Reading/Math Heroes	Tuesday & Thursday 6:15-8:00 p.m. Hope Center and Mount Joy Baptist Church	Tutor an elementary or middle school student one-on-one using a provided curriculum in reading (Tuesday) and/or math (Thursday).
Boys' Night	Wednesday 6:15-8:00 p.m. Christ Our Shepherd Church	Help lead Bible study discussions, community service activities, and life skills activities with a group of boys ages 9 and up.
Girls' Night	Wednesday 6:15-8:00 p.m. Hope Center	Help lead Bible study discussions, community service activities, and life skills activities with a group of boys ages 8 and up.
Tiny Lights	Friday 4:30-6:00 p.m. Christ Our Shepherd Church	Help lead Bible studies, arts and crafts, and recreational activities for children ages 5-8.
Gospel Choir	Friday 4:00-6:00 p.m. Hope Center	Assist youth in learning songs and dances for performances at various locations throughout the city.
Youth Group	Friday 6:15-8:30 p.m. Mount Joy Baptist Church	Participate in small group discussions and build relationships with youth ages 12 and up.
Mentoring	Mentors create their own schedule. Monthly mentor meetings occur on the first Saturday of the month.	Provide guidance and encouragement for a young person through one-on-one and planned group activities.
