Steve and Mary Park, Little Lights’ Executive Director and Deputy Director, have recently been named the recipient of the Council of Korean Americans Embrace Unity Award.

Their decades-long service to underserved communities and their commitment to racial justice will be formally recognized during the Council of Korean Americans Virtual Gala: Leading & Inspiring Through Adversity. The virtual gala will celebrate Korean Americans who are making a positive difference and restoring hope in their communities on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

“We are truly humbled and grateful to be receiving this award from the Council of Korean Americans, especially during Little Lights’ 25th Anniversary,” says Steve. “We are so thankful to all those who have supported the work of Little Lights over these past 25 years and have made it into the thriving and impactful organization we are today.”

The Council of Korean Americans also plans to award other honorees during its virtual gala including David Chang, Restauranteur & Founder, of Momofuku and Miky Lee of South Korean food-to-entertainment conglomerate, CJ Group.

We are so excited to see both Steve and Mary’s leadership recognized with such an honor!
