Distribution of Food + Supplies 

  • Distributing close to 70 grab-and-go meals outside our Capitol Hill sites, thanks to our partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank (daily) 
  • Distributing non-perishable food items to families living in Ward 7 (weekly)
  • Distributing diapers, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc. to all parents (weekly)

Academic Support 

  • Providing tailored academic packets to all students in our programs and offering prize incentives if they complete the packets (weekly) 
  • Offering Zoom Heroes tutoring sessions to help prevent learning loss (daily) 
  • Assisting DCPS in distributing homework packets
  • Distributing books to students and providing internet-enabled tablets 

Emotional & Spiritual Support 

  • Continuing Boys & Girls Night programming via Zoom (weekly) 
  • Mentors and mentees are continuing to connect digitally 
  • Calling/texting families to check-in and assess needs (twice weekly) 
  • Hosting the Gathering service (fellowship for adults and teenagers) via Zoom (weekly)

Or you can visit your local grocery store, Target, or Costco and pick up one or more of the following items then schedule a time with Mary Park to drop items off at our main center (760 7th Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003).
